invitation letter to the Korea-NSW Business Forum on the 4th of September 2018, in Sydney from 9am to 1:30pm

Korea-New South Wales Business Forum, 4 September 2018

Project Description

AKBC, in partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea (Sydney) will host the NSW-Korea Business Forum on 4 September in Sydney. This forum is dedicated to promoting cultural understanding between Australia and Korea and helping participants enhance their knowledge of Korean and Australian business culture.

Despite Korea being a major trading partner Australians generally have a low level of understanding and awareness of Korean culture. Differences in communication styles, project management and business conduct (such as approaches to workplace health and safety and wildlife heritage laws) have resulted in collaborations being delayed or cancelled.

This seminar is therefore expected to help Australians and Koreans better engage with each other to enable success when working across cultures. The seminar will also provide practical information from Korean and Australian practitioners to help companies shape their business strategies for success.

The Forum will comprise two sessions, enhancing Australian and Korean Business Cultural Understanding and Korea-NSW Investment Opportunities. This Forum will be held in Sydney CBD and is expected to attract up to 100 participants from both the Australian and Korean business communities.
