Summary of publication
This report summarises the progress of the Australian Government's aid program to Nepal. In 2012–13, Australia helped improve access to primary education and maternal and child health services through partnerships with the Government of Nepal and donors. Collaboration with partners to enhance water, sanitation and hygiene access and to alleviate poverty through micro-enterprise reached some of Nepal's poorest and most marginalised people. Australia and other donors supported early signs of reform in Nepal's public financial management.
