Cambodia Water Resources Sector Development Program: Technical Assistance Mid-Term Review Report

Summary of publication

The mid-term review of the technical assistance component of the Cambodian Water Resource Management Sector Development Program (CWRMSDP, $5 million, 2010-14) was completed by the Asian Development Bank in August 2013. The CWRMSDP was one of several investments under the Mekong Water Resources Program.

The objective of the CWRMSDP was to improve the capacity of the Cambodian Government to manage water resources and deliver irrigation services.

The CWRMSDP had three components: (i) reforms of institutions and policies, and capacity building to improve Cambodian water and irrigation governance; (ii) rehabilitation of irrigation systems and delivery of irrigation services within the Tonle Sap basin; and (iii) capacity development technical assistance (CDTA) to assist with the CWRMSDP implementation.
