This document reports the Independent Review of Supply Side Organisations and Government Intermediaries for the Knowledge Sector Pilot.

The Knowledge Sector Pilot was developed as a 'living diagnostic' to derive lessons on how best to strengthen the capacity of supply-side research organisations. In summary, the pilot's three objectives were: i) enhance the quality and volume of policy relevant research; ii) improve organisational capacity of partners; and iii) add to the knowledge of 'what works' in strengthening capacity of the knowledge sector. Lessons from the pilot were to inform the design of the KSI and provide recommendations.
