Summary of publication

The Government of Myanmar, the Multi-Donor Education Fund (to which Australia contributes) and UNICEF (as the implementing agency for the program) commissioned an independent evaluation of QBEP in 2014. The evaluation concluded that QBEP has delivered some impressive outcomes in access to learning in schools. The evaluation also concluded that QBEP needed to evolve with the rapid pace of education sector reform in Myanmar and the Myanmar Government's more active role in the delivery of education.
