Summary of publication

The Mekong River Commission's Climate Change Adaption Initiative (CCAI) aims to build regional partnership and collaboration for undertaking assessments in climate change and vulnerability in the lower Mekong. The project aims to assist planning and implementation of climate change and vulnerability assessments, build technical, institutional and managerial knowledge and capacity of government officials and establish a regional adaptation strategy which complements national plans. DFAT has supported CCAI's first phase ($3 million: 2009-2014), which piloted approaches to climate adaptation, planning and implementation throughout the region. The Mid-Term Review of CCAI was finalised in April 2014.
