Support to the Education Sector in Conflict Affected Areas in Northern Sri Lanka: Joint Summative Evaluation/Independent Completion Report

Summary of publication

This evaluation assessed the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of DFAT's investment 'Support to the Education Sector in Conflict Affected Areas in Northern Sri Lanka'. Overall, feedback from the beneficiaries (school communities) was positive, with reports of an increase in school attendance and a high level of ownership for the rehabilitated and reconstructed schools. This suggests the benefits of the program will be sustainable.
