Summary of publication
This report summarises progress against the PNG–Australia Partnership for Development objectives between January 2012 and June 2013.
Australia's assistance to PNG between January 2012 and June 2013 focused on four jointly agreed priority areas reflected in the Partnership for Development–education, health and HIV/AIDS, law and justice, and transport infrastructure. Australia also supported initiatives to strengthen democratic systems and economic and public sector reform at national and sub-national levels. Australia promoted gender equality and disability inclusiveness across all programs in PNG. This APPR assesses program performance against the Partnership for Development objectives.
