In recent years AusAID, as part of its ongoing commitment to improving the effectiveness of the Australian Government's aid program, has embraced a range of alternative approaches to delivering its overseas development cooperation program.

AusAID conducted a Quality-at-Entry (QAE) review in late 2004 of these
alternative approaches.

This Review examines 16 examples of innovative aid activities.
