Description

This document outlines the planned approach for achieving Partnership for Development commitments and targets in the education sector between Australia and Nauru. Founded on the principles of mutual understanding, mutual respect and mutual responsibility for improved development outcomes, the Partnership reflects the shared vision of the two governments to work together to meet the common challenges and to improve the quality of life of all Nauruans.

Specifically, the Partnership seeks more rapid progress towards poverty reduction and the other Millennium Development Goals by 2015.

To this end, the Nauru-Australia Partnership has identified an initial five priority outcomes that will help improve living standards in Nauru.
