The theme underpinning the strategy is the urgent need to improve the quality of learning for I-Kiribati children in schools by creating an inclusive education system which provides a quality and balanced education for all. The document includes information on:

• Meeting the future needs of I- Kiribati children in schools
• Goals for improving schools and the delivery of quality education
• Resourcing of the Plan.
