Guidance note on social protection and disability

Summary of publication

Australia's aid program is supporting initiatives that provide regular and predictable cash or in-kind transfers to individuals, households and communities in our partner countries. These social protection programs aim to reduce poverty and vulnerability, and to foster resilience and empowerment. This guideline will assist staff and implementing partners to better understand why and how to include and/or target people with disability in these social protection programs.
