France’s Baïka magazine takes you on an Australian odyssey

Popular long running French publication Baïka magazine dedicated their March 2021 issue to all things Australia. The Australian edition forms part of Australia now France 2021-22, and focusses on children aged 8-12. Baïka allows its readers to discover the richness of diverse cultures around the world. The Australiana edition will help French readers learn about contemporary Australia and its rich Indigenous history.

French children will be enthralled by features such as the beautiful Indigenous tale ‘Enora and the Black Crane’ by Arone R. Meeks, an interview with Matt and Lucy, two Australian children living in Cherbourg, France, an interview with Leesa, a flying doctor, as well as entertaining games about animals, language and geography.
