As Australian and Gulf region Fintech entities seek to utilise new technologies to develop innovative financial services and offer them on international markets, they commonly struggle with understanding the complex labyrinth of laws that govern transactions.

This project engages industry leaders, legal professionals and governance agencies to educate participants and produce research outputs that support significant opportunities to grow Australian-Arab capacity for bilateral activity, with focus on education.

The project features young people from regional Australia, Cairo and Dubai sharing stories of historical and contemporary experiences through objects and imagery, which will resonate regardless of place, language or socio-economic circumstance, and foster understanding and empathy across cultural divides.

This project aligns with Dubai Expo 2020 education theme to share new knowledge in a partnership with the Queensland University of Technology and Qassam University, Saudi Arabia about connected and automated (self-driving) vehicles, through multicultural / multidisciplinary research to enhance future careers and road safety.

In 2020, gender inequalities continued to constrain women's economic participation in the Arab Gulf states (World Bank, 2021). The study tour aims to enhance cross-cultural understanding of the barriers to, and opportunities for, effective gender diversity practices and management.

This jousour (building bridges) between Australian and Tunisian academics aims enhance collective disciplinary expertise, focusing on the art and architecture of Muslim communities.

The project is designed to showcase education and learning in a variety of environments with emphasis on cultural relationships and interactions whilst developing skills and knowledge in a unique global network of Space and STEM for Women.

Combining the ‘Sport for Change’ leadership forum and the ‘Women in Sport’ forum into a virtual Youth Leadership program for 30 Women (aged 18-30) working in Sports for Social Change across Arab regions and Australia.

Experts in social robotics, based in Australia and the UAE, will share their expertise through reciprocal research visits to develop innovative applications of robots in education, and co-organise a public symposium and exhibition at the Dubai Expo 2020.
