This project engages industry leaders, legal professionals and governance agencies to educate participants and produce research outputs that support significant opportunities to grow Australian-Arab capacity for bilateral activity, with focus on education.

To meet this growing need the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation, in partnership with the Council for Australian-Arab Relations, has embarked on a series of training and capacity-building projects.

In August 2019, Flinders University College of Business, Government and Law approached CAAR for funding to work on a project to develop Arab-Australian investment and trade relationships. 

Following the success of our first CAAR-supported study tour to Morocco in 2018, Global Journalism Exchange (Global JX) ran an exchange of study tours between Australia and Morocco in late 2019 and early 2020.
