Dancing Against the Odds is an Australia-Korea documentary co-production delivered by Connect2Abilities, which is an intercultural collaboration platform developed by world-leading scholars in Arts and Cultural Management at UniSA Business, University of South Australia. It will be delivered by a rolling plan for three-year intercultural collaboration as a digital project.
It follows the innovative and inclusive journey of making new dance theatre collaborations into three mini-documentaries, featuring Australian and Korean artists with and without disability. The project is designed to provide digital screening through the documentaries for artists to increase confidence, skills, career opportunities and collaboration. Made during a global pandemic, with multiple partners in Australia and Korea, it will bring joy into their lives and hope into the lives of the audiences and other stakeholders whom it touches on the silver screen.
