Brisbane Writers Festival, 2022

The Brisbane Writers Festival (BWF) is the oldest continuous writers festival in Australia. Since 1962, BWF has been delivering diverse programs of the top literary talent in Australia and from around the world to audiences in Brisbane and Queensland. In its sixtieth year BWF will be initiating a new component of the program focusing on the literature and storytelling traditions of countries in the Asia/Pacific Region.

The 2022 program will highlight the diverse literary talents of Aotearoa/New Zealand and Pasifika. The program will cover fiction (novels, short stories, novellas) and non-fiction writers, poets, and spoken word artists across Brisbane with the hub of the festival being the State Library of Queensland.
