Summary of publication
The Australia Indonesia Health Security Partnership (AIHSP) aims to increase national health security in Indonesia so that women, men and communities are less at risk from emerging infectious diseases, thereby contributing to Australian, regional and global health security, as well as supporting sustainable economic development and food security in Indonesia.
The AIHSP design was developed in consultation with Indonesian Government officials from relevant Ministries to build a shared commitment to policy dialogue and an effective and sustained health security partnership.
The AIHSP will be a flexible program, under which a range of activities will be supported and regularly updated based on emerging issues and experience to support the Government of Indonesia to build stronger systems to prevent, detect and respond to public health and animal emergencies, and build stronger national coordination of responses to national, regional and global health threats.
The design document describes the broader investment and outlines implementation arrangements for the program.
