Summary of Publication

The Women in Leadership in Samoa Project is a collaboration between Australia, the Government of Samoa, UN Women and the UN Development Programme (UNDP). The Project Summary identifies how the project meets UN Sustainable Development Goals, outcomes of the UN Pacific Strategy 2018-22, as well as strategic objectives of Australia and Samoan development outcomes. The Project Summary outlines various barriers to women’s leadership in Samoa, and identifies key partners and stakeholders required to achieving long-term change.
