Australia commends Ghana’s progress towards abolishing the death penalty through parliamentary consideration of amendments to the Armed Forces Act and the Criminal Code.

Australia commends Gabon for decriminalising same-sex relations between consenting adults since its last Universal Periodic Review.

Australia commends Benin for removing all references to the death penalty from its updated Criminal Code (2018).

We commend Argentina for its progress on human rights since its last Universal Periodic Review in 2017.
