Indigenous-owned producer of natural skin care, health and well-being products, Native Secrets, is a company with big ambitions. Inspired by one of the oldest cultures in the world, its natural skincare products use extracts of essential oils from wild harvested Australian natives.

Keen to share their products with a new generation of consumers, business owners Cherie and Phil Thompson are looking to Australia’s free trade agreements to help expand their export horizons.

As the company is increasingly reliant on e-commerce to expand its business, Cherie is excited about the new opportunities that will arise from the Australia-United Kingdom Free Trade Agreement.

"The free trade agreement will help us grow our business online by reaching new customers in the UK. Our ability to use electronic documents, contracts and signatures will allow us to respond more quickly and more reliably to demands from our customers there.

Supporting Australian businesses like ours through reduced digital trade barriers is important for building business resilience and helping us recover from the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic” Cherie says.
