Summary of publication

This document provides evidence and lessons from the Pastoral Care Support Services Pilot and a proposed program logic and delivery approach for the next phase of the program. The pilot and new program are created to support the Pacific Microstates – Northern Australia Worker Pilot Program (NAWPP). The NAWPP provides opportunities for citizens from Kiribati, Nauru and Tuvalu to gain work experience, earn wages in Australia, and remit some earnings to the Pacific. Up to 250 individuals from the three countries are eligible for employment with commercial entities in Northern Australia for up to three years.
