The 2017-18 Vanuatu Aid Program Performance Report assesses progress against four, mutually agreed, strategic objectives for Australia's aid program in Vanuatu:
- building resilient infrastructure and an environment for economic opportunity
- improving early education and health services
- improving community safety and resilience, and
- supporting cyclone recovery and reconstruction.
The Report shows good progress across Australia's bilateral aid program in 2017-18, working with the government and people of Vanuatu to improve access to services, strengthen livelihoods and increase economic opportunities. Australia provided $64.3 million in official development assistance to Vanuatu in 2017-18.
