Submissions received on the UK Accession to the CPTPP

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) invited submissions from interested individuals and groups on the opportunities and impacts of the UK's potential accession to the CPTPP. The following submission has been received:

The process for engaging stakeholders on the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP-11) was an extension of the Government's efforts to bring the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) into force. This built upon the extensive consultations undertaken in relation to the original TPP which commenced in 2008.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement negotiations concluded in October 2015. Below are the public submissions received during negotiations.
