Ghana was Lee-Ann's second stop of the tour; her visit coincided with the creation of the Ghanaian Council for the Arts, providing a timely opportunity for her to highlight the potential economic and social benefits of a national arts council. The visit showcased Australia's Indigenous arts and culture, shared experiences of cultural preservation through the arts and provided a platform to encourage the growth of the Ghanaian arts and tourism sector.
