Summary of publication

This report contains the findings of the Independent Review of Pakistan Trade and Investment Policy Program (PTIPP) commissioned by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The review was undertaken 16 months after the start of the program, as stipulated in the Trust Fund agreement.

The purpose of the review is to assess progress across the four components and two crosscutting issues (gender and strategic communications); and to provide recommendations on future focus and volume of funding against each of the four components, with specific attention given to promoting gender equality.

In the management response, DFAT accepts the Review findings and agrees with the majority of recommendations.
