Summary of publication
The report provides an assessment of progress achieved in 2018 by the Nabilan, Ending Violence Against Women and Children Program in Timor-Leste. Nabilan transitioned into its second four-year phase in April 2018 and progress is reported against the Phase 2 Theory of Change.
In 2018, Nabilan services partners supported 1,343 new clients, a 23 per cent increase on 2017 numbers. The program continued to build the skills, knowledge and confidence of social workers through TVET level training. Foundational work was undertaken in the year to establish community based activities to prevent violence against women and children.
