Sector: Reciprocal Australian and Korean Studies
Country location: Australia
Grantee: University of South Australia
Project description
This Australia-Korea Foundation Grant will assist the University of South Australia's (UniSA) sustained success in increasing and promoting Australia-Korea relations. The UniSA's successful public engagements, including a lecture series on Australia-Korea relations, and a special symposium on bilateral collaboration on innovation, higher education and political economy, will be supported again by the AKF. These public engagements will be carried out in conjunction with the UniSA's King Sejong Institute Adelaide, focusing on Korean language and culture, and with the UniSA Australian Centre for Asian Business. This will enhance networking among influential leaders from government, industry and academia from Korea and Australia and experts and young scholars in the field of Australian-Korean studies and bi-lateral relations.
