Project Description
The Prehistoric AlUla and Khaybar Excavation Project will develop the first comprehensive ancient climate and environmental dataset for AlUla, Saudi Arabia. Covering the last 40,000 years, the project will explore the impact of climate and environmental change on human occupation and adaption through chemical and isotopic studies. This will be achieved through the examination of hyrax-middens and isotopic analysis of Neolithic cattle teeth.
