The Australian Government has announced a package of new initiatives to strengthen Papua New Guinea's internal security and law and justice priorities following the 30th Australia-Papua New Guinea Ministerial Forum. Australia and PNG also agreed on the 30th Papua New Guinea-Australia Ministerial Forum Joint Communiqué.

The independent review assesses the performance of the 2019-24 Supporting Elections in Papua New Guinea program. The review was conducted from July to September 2023. The views expressed in the report do not necessarily reflect the views of the Australian Government.

The PNG Australia Incentive Fund is a partnership between Australia and PNG that provides grants to high performing organisations to improve service delivery and/or provide economic opportunities for the people of PNG. The Incentive Fund has been running since 2000 across four (4) phases.

AIHSS is a partnership between the Governments of PNG, Australia, and New Zealand, and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.  AIHSS is implemented by 11 Provincial Health Authorities (PHAs) and the Bougainville Department of Health, supported by non-government organisations known as implementation support providers, with technical support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

Prime Minister of Australia, and the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, signed the Agreement Between the Government of Australia and the Government of Papua New Guinea on a Framework for Closer Security Relations.

Agreement Between the Government of Australia and the Government of Papua New Guinea on a Framework for Closer Security Relations is a legally-binding framework for deepening security cooperation between Australia and Papua New Guinea.
