Strengthening Feminist Coalitions and Partnership for Gender Equality: We Rise Phase 2 Mid-term Review and Management Response

A Mid Term Evaluation (MTE) of the Strengthening Feminist Coalitions and Partnership for Gender Equality: We Rise Phase 2 (We Rise 2) was undertaken to review progress and effectiveness of strategies employed. We Rise 2 is a $4.8 million program (November 2015- August 2019) led by a coalition of four feminist organisations working to advance women's rights: Diverse Voices and Action for Equality, Fiji; femLINKPACIFIC; Fiji Women's Rights Movement and International Women's Development Agency. The MTE examined three areas of inquiry: relevance, effectiveness and efficiency. Impact and sustainability will be explored at the end of program evaluation. The MTE however provides an indication of early program impact. The MTE was a key independent assessment used to reflect on We Rise 2 contribution to the broad goals of advancing gender equality and opportunities for women in Fiji, and the Pacific. The MTE also makes recommendations for future program improvement should DFAT fund another phase of We Rise
