Vanuatu Wan Smolbag Theatre Community Partnership (WSB) independent evaluation and management response

Summary of publication

The three core donors to the Wan Smolbag Theatre Community Partnership (WSB) – Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australia), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (New Zealand), and Oxfam - commissioned an evaluation of WSB in late 2020 in order to inform the next phase of funding.

The evaluation found that WSB is highly effective and efficient. Its productions reach diverse audiences delivering message on topics of high importance to Vanuatu’s social develop covering health, nutrition, resource management and gender equality. It recommends continued funding and that WSB should continue working in the same manner, building on its strengths.
