Australian officials presented at a Federation of Malaysian
Manufacturers' Conference on Government Procurement in Kuala
Lumpur on 27 March 2007. Australia's current Government
Procurement policies and our experiences in negotiating Government
Procurement provisions in free trade agreements were highlighted
and appreciated by the Malaysian audience. We underscored the
benefits of including Government Procurement provisions in
MAFTA.
