Humanitarian preparedness and response
DFAT carries out evaluations and reviews of Australian investments in humanitarian assistance. These are conducted in line with DFAT’s Monitoring and Evaluation Standards, and reported on through DFAT’s annual Development Evaluation Plans.

A Monitoring and Evaluation Framework has been developed jointly by New Zealand (MFAT) and Australia (DFAT) as part of ongoing donor efforts to improve responses to rapid onset disasters in the Pacific.
