Performance pay

Non-SES employee performance–related bonuses for the 2014–15 performance management cycle totalled $4.72 million, a decrease of 29 per cent from the $6.6 million paid in the previous cycle. A total of 2377 non-SES performance bonuses were paid in this performance cycle, a decrease of 27.2 per cent from 2013–14. The decrease in the number of performance bonus payments reflects the alignment of the annual performance cycle following integration.

Table 24: Performance bonus payments by level, 2014-15

* Low minimum payment figures are due to payment of pro rata bonuses to staff who worked only part of the performance management cycle.

** Includes Medical Officers and eligible EL2 HOM–HOPs who are at the top of the EL2 level or have elected to receive a bonus.
